Kerchief "Vybiyka" in blue colour in natural silk
An accessory in cornflower blue — like the morning sky after rain, like a gaze through stillness, like a memory of something gentle.
This scarf is about calm, lightness, and inner clarity.
About the harmony between where we come from and what the soul quietly longs for.
The print is made using vybyika — an ancient Ukrainian technique of printing ornaments on fabric with carved wooden blocks.
In the 15th century, the town of Krolevets in the Sumy region was a renowned center of this art.
Craftsmen would dip carved blocks into dye and press them onto cloth by hand.
Each pattern is a trace of a gesture, an echo of time, a devotion to detail.
“The foundation of the design is made up of traditional plant motifs created in the vybyika tradition: stems, leaves, flowers, grape clusters, birds,” shares the print’s author.
A stylized coat of arms completes the composition — a quiet symbol of home, carried within.
This scarf is like a quiet joy.
Like a moment you wish could last longer.
Light and airy, like a touch. It doesn’t shout — it reminds you that your softness is your strength.
For those who shine gently, in their own rhythm.
