In Ukrainian culture, Easter is filled with authentic elements and traditions. Easter baskets varied in shape and contents depending on the region, customs, and family rituals. Among this diversity, the paskivnyk holds a special place.
The paskivnyk is an Easter vessel used in the blessing ritual and serves as a sign of respect for tradition. Its roots trace back to the Hutsul region before the mid-20th century. Before the church service, it was decorated with fresh flowers, colorful ribbons, or willow branches and covered with an Easter rushnyk.
Lady Di Atelier, the first inclusive atelier in Ukraine, turned to history to explore this item more deeply and reinterpret it in a contemporary context.
Created with respect for its origin and meaning, this Easter basket represents a connection between generations — one that we consciously choose to preserve and carry forward.
