All women, when they love.
Each woman depicted on the sweater embodies the spirit of struggle and life. Here are a few facts.

Lesya Ukrainka. A writer who openly and directly said that "brotherly nations" are just neighbors with no common interests, and their future is to live separately. She fell in love with the Ukrainian language, its words, and their melodiousness. Her works are rich and nurtured by Ukraine.

Solomiya Krushelnytska. A Ukrainian singer who was considered a national pride in Italy and Poland, but she always repeated that she was Ukrainian, and she ended every one of her personal concerts with Ukrainian folk songs.

Maria Zankovetska. The pearl of Ukrainian theater. Zankovetska was, in fact, the first woman in Ukraine to lead a theater — the Ukrainian National Troupe, which she founded in 1918. For this, Hetman Skoropadsky awarded her a lifetime state pension — also the first in independent Ukraine. Later, in Soviet Ukraine, Zankovetska became the first woman to receive the title of People's Artist of the Ukrainian SSR.
