A woman has always been considered the guardian of home comfort.
Since ancient times, she has been celebrated in songs, prayers, poems, and epics as the guardian — the mother. A mother gives life, inspires everything she has: the warmth of her soul, her heart, and endless love. Her lullabies inspire throughout life, and her words help overcome challenges.

The image of the mother-woman for Ukrainian culture was associated with the guardian of the land. The guardian symbolized the birth of new generations, cultures, traditions, languages, and the experiences of previous generations.

A woman, as the symbol of Life itself, was an object of worship among Ukrainians since the times of the Trypillian culture (fertility symbols and symbols of prosperity — female figurines, images of the sun, etc.).

The Guardian — mother of all living things, goddess of fertility, nature, and goodness. Over time, the Guardian became the protector of the home, with her figurines found in homes and amulets with her image worn around the neck. The traditional depiction of the Guardian is a symbolic image of a woman with raised hands in a warning gesture.
