Kerchief "Vybiyka" in milky white colour
Accessory in universal colors with a print inspired by tradition.
It is created using a technique that reproduces traditional block printing. This is a technique of creating patterns on fabric using carved blocks. In the 15th century, the city of Krolevets in Sumy region was considered the center of block printing art. It looked like this: wooden boards or stamps were dipped in paint and then pressed onto the fabric. Each pattern is handcrafted: from creating the stamp to applying the pattern to the fabric.
"The basis of the design is traditional Ukrainian plant ornaments created using block printing techniques: stems with leaves, flowers, grape clusters, and birds," says the print's creator. It is complemented by a stylized coat of arms as a reminder of home.
